Elizabeth received her bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Wisconsin and her master’s degree in physician assistant studies at the University of Iowa. She is certified by the National Commission on the Certification of Physician Assistants.
As a physician assistant, Elizabeth works with physicians in providing care to patients and is able to prescribe medication. She has a special interest in orthopedic surgery, total joint replacement, and surgical assist.
Elizabeth was inspired to join the medical field after watching her grandmother battle leukemia for 12 years while growing up. She chose orthopedics as her medical field since she can help restore patients’ health. When working with patients, she is passionate about providing care and helping them return to active and productive lifestyles.
In her free time, Elizabeth enjoys traveling, spending time with family and outdoor activities such as kayaking, camping, snowboarding and biking.
