Melissa Schaefer, PT, DPT

Melissa Schaefer received her bachelor’s degree in exercise physiology and a master’s degree and a doctorate in physical therapy from Concordia University. A member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the Wisconsin Physical Therapy Association, she is specially trained in neurodevelopment treatment techniques.
As a physical therapist, Melissa treats patients with neurological dysfunction with a special interest in patients who have had a stroke or traumatic brain injury. She works with each patient to develop an individual treatment plan to help them reach their goals and improve their function and independence.
In her free time, Melissa enjoys spending time with her family and friends, outdoor activities and downhill skiing.
